Q&A

What made you decide to try the CityPlus tour?
B: A friend of mine was visiting Shenzhen for the first time and he only had one and a half days to enjoy this vivid city! I started panicking and could not decide on what to show him. Even though Shenzhen's public transport is almost flawless, it still takes ages to get from one side of the city to the other. Luckily, a few days before my friend arrived, I came across an article by CityPlus, which made my friend's visit unforge廿able and let us spend a wonderful time together, doing what I call the " Stamp Hunt! "

Joe's Picks

Global Friendship
Guided by three pillars - education, society and culture, and community - Global Friendship builds meaningful connections between foreign and Chinese nationals with various lively meetups.
Global Friendship is one of the organizations I met through the health and wellness fair. Because of our shared passions for social good, I hit it off immediately with the leaders Fabiola, Rochelle and Patrick.
Global Friendship events include documentary screenings, personal and business development workshops, foodie nights, holiday/festival networking events, and charitable and environmental activities and initiatives. I actually had the honor of leading an event with Global Friendship in Shenzhen last year. We screened the documentary "The Mask We Live In " about gender and toxic masculinity.
Founded in 2014, Global Friendship has been working hard to build a meaningful and sustainable community in South China. In 2018, Global Friendship brought this mission to Shenzhen. Shenzhen events are held every month. With every event, Global Friendship makes positive impacts on the Shenzhen and Guangzhou communities. Global Friendship is really for people who are open-minded and curious, and like to learn, develop themselves, give back to their community and take part in diversity.
