Introduction
Founded in 1984, Shekou Hash House Harriers is a worldwide " Drinking Club with a running problem. " Members of the club meet every Saturday at 12:45 at the Snake Pit Seaworld. The bus departs at 13:30 for a trail run or walk in the mountains near Shenzhen. Their runs are between 7 and 11 km long and tend to arrive back in Shekou between 18:30 and 20:00, pending traffic conditions. To pay for the buses, water, soda and, most importantly, beer, hashers are charged 30/60/80 RMB per kid/girl/guy per run. Everyone, local or foreign, is welcome to join the club.
