Introduction

Honey Lake Area possesses obvious economic advantages and abundant international resources. By the end of 2017, it was home to 118 foreign-funded enterprises and 172 enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan. It hosts large commercial buildings represented by the headquarters of China Merchants Bank, East Pacific Center and Fortune Plaza, as well as 500 top global enterprises, such as Wal-Mart, Amer International Group Limited and China Merchants Bank, attracting thousands of foreigners to work and live there. Among them, 1 ,299 are registered foreign residents from 57 countries, including South Korea, America, Australia and Canada, with South Koreans accounting for 46 percent. Since 2011, the East Pacific Community has adhered to the idea of "building the community with projects and promoting exchanges through activities," and has created an international community by welcoming both foreign and traditional Chinese cultures and integrating foreigners into the community.
