Located at Cuida Street and under the jurisdiction of Cuida Street, Cuida Community hosts more than 300 jewelry processing enterprises. Most of these enterprises are in Wanshan-Shuibei Industrial Zone, the hub for the jewelry industry in Shenzhen, whose output and trading volume account for more than 70 percent of the entire industry in the city. There are around 200 foreign residents in Cuida Community, 90 percent of whom are Indian. They are mainly engaged in the international jewelry trade. With the aim of promoting the integration of foreign residents with the local lifestyle, the community has initiated several projects, including Chinese and foreign children' s talent training, a community English corner, a Chinese and foreign food sharing meeting and a family talent competition, to facilitate cultural exchange and enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of the Chinese and foreign residents.
