Covering an area of 3,058 square kilometers, Yanshan Community has a total population of 23,161, including 1,776 foreign residents. The Shekou Net Valley Park in the Shekou Industrial Zone is one of the first national innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration centers. With an annual output value of 40 billion yuan, it hosts well-known global enterprises, such as Apple,IBM, Nestle, Fibocom, Chigo and IIM, with around 30,000 employees, including more than 2,000 foreigners. There are five international colleges in the community, along with abundant international education resources. An International Summer Camp is set up in the community to provide free bilingual courses in foreign languages, the arts, Chinese studies and sports for the children of Chinese and foreign residents in the community. Additionally, a platform for multi-cultural communication has been set up, featuring activities like "Free Chinese Courses," a "Chinese Cultural Heritage Workshop" and "Sharing Salon Culture."
