Guanlan Street has Guanlanhu District as its central axis and radiates out from the street to constitute Guanlan International Street, which has embraced its advantages of rich ecological resources, profound cultural heritage, high-tech industrial agglomeration, rapidly developing sports and leisure industries and improved services and amenities. At present, the area has about 282,000 permanent residents, including about 90 foreign permanent residents and about 700 residents from the Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan areas. Additionally, about 300 foreigners from South Korea, Britain, the United States and France are scattered around at high-tech enterprises like Chang' an Peugeot Citroen and Silver Star Industrial Park, as well as Guanlan Lake Business Circle, Golf College, Aohu Art Village, a printmaking base and the like. To facilitate cultural communication and exchange among residents, the community organizes salons and activities in the fields of education, the arts, food, films, science and technology through the "Guanlan International Lounge" project. By 2018, more than 200 activities had been carried out, with around 90,000 residents participating.
