Introduction
ISNS was founded in 2002 and is a kindergarten to grade 12 school accredited by New Brunswick Department of Education in Canada. It follows the IB World School Canadian Curnculum and is an authorized IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. There are no more than 25 students per class at all grade levels. Students write Provincial assessments (Province of New Brunswick, Canada) to ensure the consistency of curriculum delivery and are also prepared to take the SAT. It is an official examination site for SAT, PSAT/NMSQT and AP exams. The curriculum prepares students for two esteemed international diplomas, the Canadian and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. EAL classes are offered for non-English speaking students based on assessment using the Cambridge System upon admission. The school is affiliated with UNESCO and ACAMIS (Association of China and Mongolia International Schools). Teachers must have a BA and full teacher certification or license from an English speaking country.
